What is US PREF?

The U.S. Partnership for Renewable Energy Finance (US PREF) is a group of financial institutions and thought leaders established to make deep applied knowledge of financing available to the Obama Administration, government agencies, Congress, and others who are engaged in shaping the present and future of renewable energy in the U.S.

How did US PREF start?

Through their individual work in Washington DC, the initial partners of PREF saw a need in Washington for an educational voice that the financial community can provide in order to enable the most effective policies to be put in place and clear and detailed analysis of the market consequences of federal renewable energy policies. Working with other firms, our partners decided to create a single group to bring industry-wide perspective to the government.
